Protected by more than 60 patent claims
Co-invented by a research scientist and an isolation/containment engineer to save lives, we set out to improve the performance of access to isolation or containment enclosures. When we were done, we actually re-invented the field by introducing the first enclosure port technology to offer greater continuous access to an isolation/containment enclosure and still be able to maintain or improve the containment capability of the enclosure.
Over the four years of development, the design received U.S. Patent approval for its unique intellectual property in 2010. Additional divisional patent claims have been filed to extend the protections of our intellectual property.
Deploying the Marketing Strategies
We have developed a sophisticated marketing approach that target Architects, facility utility managers, environmental health and safety directors, and distributors. The approach will integrate direct marketing, internet media networking, and tradeshow exhibits and articles. Emails, postcards and product information can be sent directly to the buyer and decision maker for specific targeted markets. Networking and trade media outlets will be used to drive product inquirers to our website to generate qualified leads which will be turned over to our distribution channels for closure.
Continuous Access Port sales are conducted though a combination of OEM relationships, specifications by Architects and mechanical engineering designers, and sales through energy management firms, ESCOs and laboratory equipment distribution channels.
Our Mission
Isolation Sciences is solely focused on the worldwide penetration of the Continuous Access Port technology into the isolation and containment markets. With the Continuous Access Port innovative design, the Continuous Access Port is the first product of its kind that can reduce conditioned airflow being exhausted to the minimal allowed to meet safety codes for maximum energy conservations and still allow for rapid and continuous uninterrupted access to the fume hood work bench. Deploying the Fume Hood Energy Saver into laboratory fume hoods provides the ability of laboratory personnel to work safer with less threat to exposure of fume hood contaminates.
Our Commitment to a Sustainable Earth
Isolation Sciences is deeply committed to conserving our planet resources. Beyond the development of a product that has the potential of reducing our laboratory energy costs by over $1Billion per year, using recycled packing and shipping containers, Isolation Sciences will continue to look for ways to contribute to a more sustainable environment by lowering our energy costs, lowering our carbon footprint, and lowering the safety risk to become an environmentally friendly partner with Mother Earth.
The Isolation Sciences Opportunity
From time to time, out-of-the-box thinking generates products that are significantly different than those that have gone before them. ‘Out-of-the-Box’ thinking, these products have the potential to forever change the way we look at everyday paradigm of doing business. In what has been a commodity marketplace, the reaction to the introduction of the Continuous Access Port has shown that this patented design will take a strong market positions and have a large impact on the specifications and purchasing decisions made by Architects, laboratory directors, facility energy managers, and Environmental Health and Safety directors.
